RISE Mentorship Program is a unique experience offered for PVUSD students. The program goal is to support you through the college application process, and the higher education space. Our mentorship program will match you with a mentor who best fits your interests and/or can assist you the best.

RISE aims to assist students in the preparation for college, during the application process and ​even post high school graduation. Part of that includes virtual campus tours, enabling students to have an accessible tour of various universities from students who are currently attending/have attended.

RISE Team members are all PVUSD alumni, and have gone on to succeed in higher education either as current college students, recent graduates, or young professionals. Our commitment to our hometown community demonstrates our initiative to give back to PVUSD by assisting and empowering the next generation of students to come. Part of our initiative is to bring the community together through various pre-planned volunteer opportunities for students. Our goal through this is to connect students with the community and aid students in attaining community service hours.

RISE Workshops & Panels are aimed at connecting current PVUSD students with PVUSD alumni who are both currently attending a university or recently graduated. Through this, we hope to offer various workshops and panels that will allow students to learn about a number of different topics ranging from Universities, to post-graduate life, and early career development.
